Recently I have learned that 2017 is supposed to be the  “end!”  And even more recently I call the people who make these allegations “false prophets!”  It pains me to see people have not learned their lessons of yester- years when others would get up on the television and make false end of world statements!  Gods Word is very clear when Jesus said that no man knows the  hour!  This type of thinking is only motivated by money,  which the world offers anyone to try to make God’s word look false and turn many away from the truth!  So at this moment I take great pleasure in reminding these fake,  false,  wanna be liars where they are going! Jeremiah said, what those who lead my sheep astray! There are painful consequences when dealing against His way and trying to lead others away!

Recognize that this is the Devil at work and his plans are to destroy Gods work and His people!  But, no weapon formed against us will prosper!

I pray today you hearken to the voice of God almighty and just get busy doing what He has planned through you and let God be God!  We at Unashamed believe only what God says and know it is all in His timing alone!

Something to think about!

Over the course of my life I have experienced different situations.  I have witnessed chaos and family resolve.  Recently I have been able to witness a family that was divided for so many years come together and see God miraculously heal their differences.  I have witnessed a father humble himself and allow God to restore a once broken relationship between his children.  I have witnessed the mature growth in children towards their parents as so explained in Malachi 4:6

And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.

Daily we witness this promise of God but yet fail to realize the significance or the impacted importance of healing within our families.  The importance of not only a father and his children, but also the importance of family and how they play an important role for our development in life. Satan attacks families in every direction trying to destroy the main establishment in which God has such a prominent purpose for.  We as true believers must put on the armor of God and face this fight head on and reclaim God’s purpose for you and I in regards to our families!

  1. Decide today to let God transform you into what He first purposed you to be.
  2. Decide what about your family is most lacking and purpose in your heart to feed God’s love in that area.
  3. Pray!  Ask God to give you the keys to that area and intercede for it leaving all details to Him!
  4. As you pray daily, give and receive forgiveness in areas of differences you may have towards family.
  5. Be Healed! God will restore what He has deemed necessary in both you and family!

The absolute answer to all of this is prayer and letting God be God, but we can obedient to Him by continually praying and watching Him do the work.

Now that’s Love!

Ahhhh it’s finally here, Thanksgiving!  My favorite time of year to do some serious unashamed eating and not feel guilty about it!  But before we grab the fork and a couple of dinner plates full of the good stuff, remember to give thanks to the one responsible for the good stuff!  We have so many things to be thankful for and we should daily give thanks!  The number one reason I feel I should thank God for is the gift of His Son who died on the cross for my sins!  He alone took the burden of guilt and shame, and bore my cross and for that I am not worthy, yet grateful!  Thank you Jesus for dying for me and taking my place for a punishment that I so deserve!

Are you grateful to a merciful Father who sent His only Son to bear the sins of this world on His shoulders so that you may have an opportunity of having eternal life in Heaven?  As you gather with friends and family today, just thank God for all the things He has done for you!  Don’t leave Him out of your day!  Fellowship with Him and express your grateful heart to the one who created life just for you!  I pray this Thanksgiving is a pleasant one!  God Bless you and yours this day!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

The Elect!

The ballots have been cast, the votes are in and we have a new President!  Despite who was for who, the question a lot of people will ask is, “Where do we go from here”?  People of God, it is time to stand up and come out of the shadows that we have been placed in!  I believe God has given us the opportunity to right a lot of wrongs that has taken place over the the last few decades.  I myself cannot sit idly by and just wait!  Together as the body of Christ, we must reunite for the common purpose of the gospel and push onward!  I believe that this is our final chance to really break strongholds of the devil and advance what God has purposed us for!  We may have who many didn’t want, and given the choices we had to vote for, God will use this election for His personal glory, so we must constantly remind ourselves of that very purpose and set our own ambitions aside!  Together we can impact the lives of many and bring out the best in each other in Jesus name!  I am excited about this election outcome, because we as true followers of Christ can reclaim what was rightfully given to us by God, and that is the right to preach the Gospel to every living creature, just as Jesus commanded in the Bible!  We have no fear and we are Unashamed!

God Bless You and God Bless these United States!

The Counterfeit Claim!

The Words of Christ live on through us daily, and it is no surprise that He uses us to speak His words to others.  Too often we find ourselves in the judging business, trying to pick apart others words when they are clearly being used by God to share something with us.  Often I hear people criticize others in the authenticity of what may be spoken by God and what are man’s thoughts. This is dangerous living that needs to be stopped immediately! God chooses whom He may use! If what you are hearing brings honor and glory to our risen King, and fulfills the law of God written on our hearts, then, that is where we listen and withhold commenting.  If the words you are reading or hearing do not match up to what is written, then we can still withhold commenting and dismiss them like they were never spoken.

Colossians 4:2-6  (NKJV)

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Our goal is to remain blameless in the sight of God so that at the appropriated time we can be elevated to bring the gospel to others. If we find ourselves speaking to others and even finding ourselves in a heated debate over words that are spoken, then we are in a counterfeit attitude, one that does not bring glory to our Father!  It is His job and His alone to convict others, in His own fashion! It’s good to be eager and ready to deliver the truth, but it must be done according to the will of God.  Sometimes our passions become greater than our purpose and we miss what God is trying to do within us.  May God open our eyes and hearts to His understanding, that we may be called according to His purpose!  Be Blessed today!!!

Ever have a day where nothing seems to go correctly the way you intended? Seems like Murphy is having his way with you? What causes those days to appear in the first place?  Why do we really need to have such turmoil when we purpose our dedication for Christ?!  Well, through our human eyes we see the empty promises and deliver on void actions because we are trying to create our own terms.  Through spiritual eyes we can see that what we do does not matter.  What matters is that we allow God to transform our thoughts and actions to correlate with His divine attributes, if we let Him!  Can’t say that I have always been willing to relinquish self control over to Him, so in turn, I get Murphy!!!  I am learning and growing more each day though!  Everyone else may be finished with me, but God is not!  He will get the Glory out of all of this!!!

How would you describe your walk with Christ?  Does it consist of the same old ritualistic routine?  Are you finding yourself at the end of the day cataloging your events since you woke up?  Do you even reflect on what got you to this point?  I only ask this question to help you realize the importance of God controlling the events in your day.  See, we tend to unwind at the end of the day and reflect on how difficult it was, or, how irritating the person to the left of us at work is, and, we even let a brief but monumental sigh and announce how glad we are because this day is over with!  I wonder if God says that about us and how we lived the day He has blessed us with?!  Count it all joy though, Murphy still has plenty of tricks left up its sleeve!  We can either face it with a good attitude, or a bad one!  Here is a better thought, face it with God!

What was the last thing you did before you sat down to read this word?  What was the last thing you did last night before you went to bed?  Chances are many of us prepared our usual routines that we daily do, or, go to the store and stock the pantry shelves.  Nothing wrong with that at all. Now another question.  Think really carefully and answer yourself this in the most honest way, what was the last thing you did for God?  When you heard His Word, did you act upon it, maybe at church or did you reflect on the power of the words?  Again, many will say they did but realistically they did not.

The reason I ask is because, in the Bible in the book of James 1:22 it says that we are to be doers of the word, and not just hearers.  If we fall into the category of hearers then we only deceive ourselves, and we know that hearing the Word only is not enough to save our soul!  I ask this because I want you to be successful in your walk with God through the power of the Holy Spirit, ordained by the blood stain of our Savior!  It can sometimes be difficult to motivate our own selves to do more but we have an absolute strength when we just simply ask God for what is necessary of us to complete His tasks.  Remember, to become complacent is to sin against the body, and if the body is filled with the Word, then because of sin, the Spirit is grieved and cannot flourish the way it is supposed to since we gave our body to Christ!

Just a little something to think about…

Revelation 3:16 (NKJV)

16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth!

Here is a mental picture for you!  You are at a restaurant about to enjoy something you have waited so long for to eat!  You have worked very hard all week at a very difficult job and you just can’t wait to sink your teeth into what you ordered!  All of a sudden, someone yells out from back of the room, “There is a dead cockroach in my food and I just ate half of it!”  You then witness the act that would normally follow!  Now the restaurant is packed, people raising their voice in disgust and they start examining their food making sure nothing foreign and multiple legs has made its way on to their plate!  Meanwhile, the original complainer is vomiting all over their plate and table, then a chain reaction ensues vowing to call the health department for a red sticker and never to return, plus tell everyone of their experience!

Pretty disgusting right?!  I would bet ever dollar I have that God looks at the acts of a “Lukewarm Christian” in the very same light, because he (Lukewarm Christian) is a distraction to others and causes a chain reaction that causes people to not go to Him in the first place!  The works of a “Lukewarm Christian” are the half eaten cockroach that God just ate!  EEEW!

I know that God continues to prepare me with each & every day for what he has ultimately purposed for my life! Even when times get rough, I always gotta remember to keep a grateful heart so that God can work through me & I can then see the good in everything that comes my way! 🙂 Live each day fully trusting in God!
