Encouraging Word

Friday April 19, 2019

(Luke‬ ‭6:32-36‬ ‭NKJV) “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.”‬‬ When we follow after Christ and understand what He is teaching us in the Bible, we realize that nothing can be done in our own strength. In our own strength we only love those who love us, we are only good to those that are good to us. We only forgive those who forgive us & only work to understand those that understand us. And everything goes smoothly only when others agree with us. But what does it look like when we disagree? Are we still able to love & forgive those that don’t love or forgive us? Do we have the strength to live this life on our own without pride devouring our souls? The answer is NO!! And we won’t realize it when we only stick around those like minded people that feed into the same lies of this world & the lies found in religion & who don’t take time to read & meditate in the Word of God trusting in the Holy Spirit which has been replaced with the efforts of man. Those who haven’t fully surrendered to Christ will somehow blame their lack of surrender on those living for Christ being too much for Christ in their walk, as though the Bible isn’t addressing all of us. They will point out your flaws, instead of realizing that what they follow isn’t of God, but a system that follows tightly with the ways of this world blinding it’s followers in denying the power of the Holy Spirit. And many will mistake their self-righteousness for righteousness towards God, or good deeds & good morals as holiness, to be that stand up person following a set of man-made rules that replace the need for Jesus. They look for the logic in things, instead of replacing that with the hope & faith found in Jesus. There is a difference between those acknowledging Christ with a shout out one day a week or during a known holiday that is also associated with bunnies & eggs, than those truly following after Christ and denying themselves daily by picking you their cross daily. But when we pat ourselves on the back for our good efforts, we miss the need for Christ. It is time to get out of your own way of doing things and it’s time to give yourself fully to Christ. Only Jesus can complete us & make us whole. Don’t throw stones at those who make their life about Jesus or point out their faults when most of the time the one throwing stones or not “causing waves” to take a stand in their faith, are not going out as a light to others, but still convinced that their faith is to be kept quiet. The devil is a liar! Armor up & truly think about what this day represents because even the unbelievers take notice of this day, but don’t receive the message of sacrifice given for us to live for Him. (Matthew‬ ‭16:24-26‬ ‭NKJV) ‬‬“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

We need to be fed daily. Do we skip eating for days, unless it’s for fasting & praying, which I will add is something that we all need to be doing. If you want prayers answered or to get more clarity & understanding from God, fast & pray. But this is about feeding our spirit daily. We cannot survive or stay strong & healthy if we are only eating once a week, so why would we think that feeding our spirit once a week will not cause us to be weak & not be able to withstand the schemes of Satan? Satan is on his job 24/7. Let’s get this clear, without Christ and without being in the Word daily & feeding our spirit daily, we will not be walking in line with God’s will for our lives. It’s not about fitting in here and just going with the flow of life and making our own little world all nice & pretty, but it’s about standing strong in our faith to go against the culture. Many will be misled and deceived & fall for many things that are of this world. If it is not of God or not glorifying God, it’s not good for us. Period! Some have been convinced over the years by the more corporate way of doing things, that their way is right, but it’s just a way of conforming to this worldly system that goes against God. If we want to blend in here and not cause any problems we will just follow along & learn to play nice with others, but it’s a facade that people put up to make it about their way of life because of pride. It’s wrong. Jesus didn’t come here & sacrifice His life for us so that we can go against who God has called us to be. And it’s not about the expectations of someone that seeks God daily, but it’s in God’s Word to walk differently from the rest of this world. We must be an example and lay down our lives and pick up our crosses daily and follow Christ. We are to be renewed in our minds by feeding our minds with the things of God. What we watch, listen to, who we associate with & what we seek is how we feed our minds. We must feed our minds with things of God in order for our lives to line up with the will of God. We are not to lean on our own understanding, but to be renewed daily by the Word of God. May we encourage one another to do so & pray expectantly. May we continue to be in constant communication with God by talking to Him & asking for His continued guidance. In Jesus Mighty name… Amen! (Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬) “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

May we feel the love of Christ within us. May we be consistent in our walk with Him to show others what living for Christ looks like. We can point out the Word to others, but it’s best when we can show others what living for Christ truly looks like through our actions & through the strength given to us through Him. We can do all things through Christ! May we live by faith. Grow in grace. Walk in love. Our actions speak louder than our words ever will. We are the body of Christ! We are the Church! May we not allow our brothers & sisters to fall, but let us lift one another up by building one another up in truth & in love. May we grow together in God’s grace. May we walk in humility knowing that we too fall short, but that we are willing to get back up in the fight & keep pressing on. Let us be thankful for the gift of grace given to us so that we can experience life as new creations in Christ. And know that we are no longer bound in sin, because sin has lost its power in our life through Christ. God can work through our humility because we admit that we cannot accomplish it all without Him. And it is impossible to please God without putting our faith in Him. It is God that has given us purpose, so it is God that we should be living for. Surrender it all to Him & watch the transformation in your life. Let us all grow together. This isn’t a competition against one another, but it is a race of endurance to preserve to the end so that we can live a life of eternity with our Heavenly Father, and make this life worth while for what is yet to come through our faith to believe that Jesus Christ is Who He says He is.‭‭ (James‬ ‭1:22-24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.”

We must continue to walk in obedience according to God’s Word. We easily get distracted & go astray by focusing on this world & it’s clever tactics to take our minds off of God. Some things are obvious & yet many things are subtle. We are to be reminded that God has a plan for our lives & it doesn’t involve lots of money that we believe is success, but God shows up when we pray expectantly in our lives. No need for settling for less or second guessing God’s promises in His Word to us. If He said it, it will come to pass. It’s up to us to hear His voice and tune out the doubts of this world which leads to fear of the unknown. But we can rest assured that God knows it all & He’s got us protected in His mercy & grace. Not many of us have been raised to completely trust in God, but we get more concerned of the opinions of others & impressing them, and talking in terms of what sounds logical, and backing down from the truth, but we must live to please God & believe that His miracles are the impossible. His way brings peace, comfort & hope to our soul. When we let go of our pride & recognize that there is a system set in place in this world which is in complete opposition of how God has called us to live, we keep on drawing closer to God believing that He already knows & we can expect to be shaken up a bit so that we all have a chance to get right with God, and to receive Christ into our hearts as our Lord & Savior, and leave our egos at the door. Jesus has paved the way for us to show us how to go through this life by applying the knowledge freely given to us through Him to continue to learn the lessons that come from the many decisions we make. There is a better way to live when we choose to follow Jesus and be imitators of Him and to trust God no matter what situations look like, because that’s exactly what Jesus did in every moment. He walked in His authority knowing what God has called Him to do. (Psalm 9:9-10‬ ‭NKJV)‬‬ The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.”

We were meant to be courageous! Those weighed down by their own insecurities & doubts, or still allowing the past to define who they are, and those desiring the money & power to become something in this world, are being blindly led because there are many out there motivationally speaking & preaching to tickle the ears of those who don’t fully surrender to Jesus, but who want everyone to feel good & look to this world for answers, but we know there is only one solution and His name is Jesus. Unfortunately many won’t receive truth because we constantly wrestle with the flesh when our spirit isn’t being fed by the Word of God. Many speak of Jesus & put on a good show, but many are not being led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus isn’t a coward & true followers know how to walk in the authority given to us by God. This is why it’s very important to surrender it all to Jesus so that we may be able to hear truth & live by it. No one thinks the truth is too harsh when they’ve accepted Jesus into their heart. We must remain humble & meek in our walk & be obedient to God according to His Word. (Matthew‬ ‭5:5-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.”

(Matthew‬ ‭15:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Lord God help us. We can see the patterns just repeating themselves.  Some believe it’s better to try harder with all their own efforts and look the part, but it’s clear that their fruit is missing. We are to continue to test the spirits. Family or not, not everyone does things with the right motives & some will even do whatever it takes to make themselves look good, but those in Christ can see right through it all. Many families are still trying to force old traditions that didn’t work back in the day & won’t work now. Instead we must drop to our knees and surrender it all to Christ. It is only pride that rises up as we try to defend family traditions & the need for family, instead of understanding true unity that can ONLY be found in Christ. The truth shall set us free as we learn to grow together in Christ. Families can be deteriorating right in front of one another, but that spirit of manipulation whose roots come from religion is running rampant in their hearts. It’s though people don’t believe in deliverance and they still seek out churches that cater to the justifications of their carnal desires and deep down they don’t see a need for change, but have learned to justify their own behaviors over the years. However those same people will sit back waiting for others to change around them. But clearly we can see that it’s not about Jesus, but it’s a form of control on their part and they are only hurting themselves by denying Christ & the power of the Holy Spirit. Not all of us have elders to look to, but we can see how Jesus has the victory in our lives despite what we come from and that should give us all hope. So all those who may feel defeated because of what they come from, please know that God’s got you & He will lift you up and carry you out of any messes that family has tried to set before you. They have no power! Rise up children of God and armor up because these battles are real! (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭15:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”

‭‭(James‬ ‭1:26-27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” Jesus IS the way, the truth, & the life! The only way to come to our Heavenly Father is through Him! There is only ONE WAY to Heaven & it’s through Jesus Christ! Not all ways lead to Heaven. Just start dissecting other religious beliefs & you will be led to Jesus. And Jesus is NOT religion! Man thinks that he can do what Jesus can do, but it’s impossible. No man can even come close to what Jesus can do, and when we try, we suffer harsh consequences. So yes, religion is the problem in this world & religion has ushered in the evil in this world. Jesus IS a Healer & a Deliverer, without Him we don’t know the One True God! People want the truth! It’s the lies & deception that has turned people away from God. We were born to seek truth & many have been forced into religion through its deception & have missed out. So we can try real hard to be good, but we are not to do anything on our own outside of Christ. All we have to do is witness Him in our own lives because He lives. God allows all things to happen, and nothing can take place without God allowing it. And when we look around let’s not blame Satan, but understand that we have turned our back on God & many are following the rituals of man & not following after Christ, but they are denying His power. Our faith in Him is what makes us stronger & wiser & when we say Jesus, even demons will tremble. No one needs your religion, but we all need Jesus. Religion has already ripped families apart or have given them a false connection. Let’s be honest! How many can say that their hard works of going to church has kept their children in the church? How many can’t wait to get out from under it as soon as they become of age. The old saying used to be don’t discuss religion & politics & now I see how they go hand & hand. One can’t survive without the other, but Jesus should be shouted from the roof tops if we know His power! No need to keep quiet when we know that He is what this world needs. He is the Only One that can save us! It’s amazing how trends are talked about all the time. People put money into their homes, & then switch it up to keep up, and then the cycle continues, but we don’t talk about Jesus & allow Him into our homes & tell others that we need Him in order to live. And it’s amazing how many of us when we talk to others about Jesus, and we think they are on the same page, how they switch the focus & tell us another solution outside of Christ, or down play His power & authority, like yea I will give Jesus a mention, but truly I just don’t get His power. Well don’t spread that infectious unbelief to others, and please instead let go & surrender it all to Christ! Instead of being more concerned with whether climate change is relevant or not, let’s focus on the One who controls it all & pay attention to the message. When we are in trouble we pray. Why did it have to go this far? So if anyone is offended it’s not about you because there are plenty that need to hear this message; the ones that seem to get overlooked. We all need a heart check every so often. Keep in mind… Everything is in Gods hands, and God’s children will be protected. This is not our home!! Do not fall for the lies, but continue to seek God’s truth & be led into His loving arms! (Galatians‬ ‭6:7-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Faith & Forgiveness go together! How can we have a faith that will not waver if we don’t believe God’s Word about forgiveness. The nerve of any of us to think no one deserves forgiveness. Maybe we have a bad taste of it by the poor examples of others that use forgiveness as a from of control. God wipes the slate clean of our sins when we repent. The type of forgiveness that keeps us held under someone’s control is when someone says they forgive just to have the upper hand over someone else’s life. But that’s not the forgiveness we receive from Christ. Forgiveness frees us. The truth is we allow the sin that we haven’t honestly dealt with to hang over our own heads & that’s why we don’t forgive others, because we just can’t seem to forgive ourselves. And no matter what we face in our lives, we remain stubborn in our own mess & find no strength to overcome those negative thoughts towards the one we can’t forgive. We act as though Christ is not a part of our life, knowing that through Him we can do ALL things, not some things, not a few things, but ALL things. Not sure how un-forgiveness can be good for anybody’s spiritual health, it’s yucky to hold onto things. So sit back today and think of why you should be forgiven and see if you don’t come to the conclusion that you shouldn’t be forgiven. But by the grace of God, though Christ we are forgiven. Not because of what we have done, but because of who God is. He has given us a chance, and when we recognize that forgiving others opens the door towards faith that can move mountains & that doesn’t allow doubt to creep in & stay there, than we can say we got it! May something click within our spirit today to truly get this message. I couldn’t move in the direction that God wanted me to go in as long as I held onto un-forgiveness. But God drew me in close to Him & reminded me of what His One & Only Son did for me & I dropped to my knees. It doesn’t mean we haven’t been hurt, it doesn’t mean that things are undone, but it does mean that we are free from the chains that kept us bound. I am free to love & to be a light to others. And God has a way of working other things out in our life because of letting go. It is arrogance & pride that keeps us from forgiving others & it is an awful characteristic and not very Christian at all. There is no nice way of putting this because it’s evil. So if you admire someone else’s faith, remember that they understand forgiveness and don’t esteem themselves better than others, and choose to be be more like Christ. Let go and be forgiving today because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. And that’s a whole other topic with how we live. (Matthew‬ ‭18:21-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”

Surrendering to Christ teaches us accountability & honesty while making us whole. There are many that will address the outward sin in their lives, as we all learn how to play the game of looking the part, but we are to look deeply within ourselves to know what’s really going on deep down in our core being. Many say that they know Christ, but haven’t truly received Him in their heart. And we tend to justify our sin when we find someone to blame in our lives. One may go on and on about their abusive relationship, and while remaining in it they learn how to lie and become vindictive and infecting others negatively, but they will justify their actions because of the way they were treated, but we need to be honest about our own sin. Someone may have made an agreement with their spouse to live separate lives under the same roof, but as long as the two are married, they open the door to be enticed by others and find themselves having relations with others while the two are technically still married. And there is someone who only saw the issues in their marriage a problem when someone better comes along to sweep them off their feet & entices them with riches. We learn a lot about what’s truly in people’s hearts over the years. Some think they make the best decisions because they sit pretty with their finances, but we learn that they love money and the high life, especially if it makes them socially acceptable to a more elite crowd. In this world everything is justifiable, but it doesn’t mean it’s right in God’s eyes. We need to stop seeing ourselves as the victims of our circumstances, but face the fact that sin takes a hold of us in different forms, and we need Christ to clean up the mess in our lives which remains inside of us, so that through Christ we can deliver a bigger message that He is the only way out. Now how many do we think are going to be straight forward about sin, if they got it taking over in their own lives? It’s very sad that we continue to cling to groups in order to justify our actions. I personally would rather someone talk to me and ask me what’s going on in my life that maybe deep down I don’t feel I have the strength to overcome on my own, and be reminded that I don’t have to go at it alone. People are walking around in a depression and their friends or family won’t say a thing because in fact in some cases it makes them feel better when others are down because then their own problems don’t seem as bad. We need Christ! We fail others when we don’t lead them to Christ. We just hand them a list of rules to follow, or better yet gossip about the person & talk about them to everyone else instead of reaching out to the one hurting. I’ve been there. I got to learn after the fact that people could see I wasn’t myself and held a lot of anger inside, and no one asked how I was doing. They wanted to believe that it was who I ran to, but the damage was already done by those I trusted that had no problem with me as long as I kept quiet, but when I spoke the truth everyone was suddenly offended. Imagine if they stopped to look at themselves for their own offenses over the years. The guilt has to kick in at some point when we don’t do our part. To hear people say they were looking to Christ, but not showing the love, mercy, forgiveness, or offering comfort & hope in Christ told a totally different story. Knowing Christ & knowing what He can do for others is nothing to be quite about, but the gossiping was the sin in their lives to keep them from speaking up about Christ. The spiritual battles are REAL here people! I think that people being so afraid to offend someone forget that what we consider offensive has gotten us away from caring. If someone is offensive because they cannot tame their tongue is one thing, but to be involved in someone’s life & not talk about the things taking place is not someone that I would want around me. If someone is not looking out for our best interest, they really haven’t learned how to care about themselves enough. Love our neighbor as we love ourselves is ironic nowadays, because if we haven’t felt the love of Christ in our spirit and learn how to love ourselves, than we cannot love others the way we are supposed to. We cannot give what we do not have. Let’s all quit justifying our sinful behaviors. Our dishonesty and the condemnation is what is keeping people in bondage. Christ is the only way to be free from all the shackles of sin in our lives. To treat our body as our temple speaks volumes when we are mindful of how we feed our mind, body & spirit. Whether it’s drugs, food, movies, music etc., we will fall short if it is not glorifying God. May we all surrender the things in our lives to Christ that do not glorify God and be made whole through Him. We are not to run to others to save us, but to seek after Christ with everything we have & pray knowing that God will make a way in our lives to be solely dependent on Him. (Romans‬ ‭8:5‬ ‭NKJV)‬‬ “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”

Stay encouraged and don’t believe any of Satan’s lies. He is a liar!! May we all come to know God’s truths about us & gain the understanding & wisdom for the things that take place in our lives.  Our thoughts at times get intercepted by the lies of Satan, but as long as we hang onto God’s Word & His promises, He will always prevail in our lives. And let’s remember that the attacks from Satan take more than positivity to overcome. The spiritual battles are real & only through Christ can we overcome these battles. I know that as soon as I let my guard down & get caught up in my emotions and thoughts & focusing on the obstacles instead of God, Satan strikes again. Then I remember that as soon as I pray and get into God’s Word & say Lord I need you, I recognize that a breakthrough is coming so I must hang on and trust God even when I cannot see through what’s right in front of me. BUT GOD… will make a way out of no way for those that love the Lord with all their heart, mind, body & soul. Jesus has the victory in our lives & nothing is too big for God. He knows what’s best for us. It’s never about what we want, but always will God provide what we need.  Keep trusting God in your life. Each day pick up your cross & follow the ways of the Lord. Our faith will always be tested, and the outcome is proof of where our time is invested. ‭‭May God be first in our lives above all things. And may God get all the glory, for He is worthy of our praise! Hallelujah Jesus! (Psalm ‭23:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.”

(Revelation‬ ‭3:20-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” May we continue to seek more of Jesus for He is the Prince of Peace. May we not find ourselves in submission to things not of God. May God continue to protect His children knowing the schemes of man, especially those that fall into the wrong arms. May we understand through our own lives what surrendering to Christ really looks like. We tend to want to have control of everything, and a promising system gives us the comfort in that by the lies of this world that describes abundance by means of what we can possess materially, as we call it a blessing. But we know as followers of Christ we are not to be driven by the things of this world, so we live by faith and not fear. Putting our hope in anything in this world creates fear. And we learned through many lessons that may have seemed as though it was irresponsible, it made us open our eyes to exactly what has a hold of us & what we need to surrender to Christ. Whatever eventually brings us to our knees, may we never forget it! May we be reminded that whenever Satan wants us to feel as though we have done wrong & will be punished, we are reminded that we are forgiven & loved, and by Christ & only through Him have we been given a clean heart to trust in Him with no doubt in our heart. And those truly serving God will speak a different language than the overly educated know it alls of this world. If our knowledge is not first found in Christ, it means nothing in the kingdom. It only gives us access to this world, which is deceptive at every turn by thinking it is all up to us. Even a well known religious leader will have to answer to God, even more so by having many worship him & calling him father as he misleads God’s children. The only bowing down that he has done is to organized religion & has succumbed to his own thoughts controlled by Satan; when we understand the Bible we recognize how far off he actually is. But people will look to him because of status and ignore God’s warning signs to them, by following the false teachings of man. We see this over & over again. God’s plans for our lives doesn’t include popularity, but the opposite. But many will live & appreciate the truth as we expose it & trust God in our walk to continue to hear Him & follow after Him & surrender to Him. May every single thing that you are going through be given to Jesus. We need Jesus! Call on Him, ask Him for help, ask Him to see you through, ask Him for forgiveness, admit your weaknesses & know that you belong to God. And watch what God can do through our faith in Him! We often question our lives, but God is looking for our faith in Him, because the truth is the more we put our faith in Him, the more our faith grows. The more our faith grows, the more we are in line with God’s Word. The more we are in line with God’s Word, the more we see that He is in control and that God has called each one of us by name & He will continue to see us through. ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭43:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.”

(John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭NKJV) “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” We are not supposed to be self sufficient, but we need God! If God didn’t give us more than we can handle, than we wouldn’t need Him. But as we get into God’s Word we can clearly see that we are to be dependent on Him; completely opposite of the man made motivators! Religion pretty much keeps people from truly understanding what surrendering our will to God means. Religion puffs up the egos of man and his efforts coming from his own strength just by knowing what’s right & the will power to do it, and at the end of the day he pats himself on the back for all his lovely accomplishments. And if he doesn’t complete his deeds, he feels worthless and mistakes it for humility. Religion keeps people bound in the traditions of men & following rituals & a list of what to do & not to do, instead of preaching Christ and speaking life into the lives of individuals, and relying solely on His strength & His Word being spoken into our lives. Let Christ be our motivation! Religion is part of Satan’s schemes. Religion keeps us segregated with partial truths. Religion makes it about our hard work & success as we become deeper enslaved by those very things in this world that destroy us. Religion is in competition with Christ, and convincing the masses to lean on their own understanding of Christ to glorify themselves in order to gain the financial success to make it in this world & live the American Dream which is the opposite of what God’s Word teaches us. Religion sells us a concept. So rep whatever religion that you want to & believe that your religion is the only way & I will continue to believe God at His Word found in His Word, because His Word is bond. All these forms of control from man is the anti-Christ spirit at work. It’s obvious when we see that money is their motivator & where it all began. And by not trusting God and the means to run a church & pay taxes, they lose the ability to preach as led by Holy Spirit & instead forced to preach in a way that leaves Christ out of it. Because we cannot follow Him by listening to man take scripture out of context or omit it completely. Anything that man touches is no match for what God has created. Period! And many times we admire God’s creations & worship them more than worshiping Our Creator of all things, Almighty God! May we keep in mind that we must let go of the things we know and hang onto what God has instilled in us. Just because the world wants to roll in the opposite direction that God is taking His people, doesn’t mean that we are to follow them, but continue to listen to God as He speaks to you in many different ways. But it’s hard to notice Him when we are engulfed in everything else around us. Notice that things only stand out as problems when they are magnified through media. We are not to sway in the direction that this world wants to lead us, but we must be still & listen for God & continue to surrender our lives to Christ knowing that He is the only way for us to have a relationship with God, and it is He that gives us the courage to go where He leads us. We will not be popular, but there is a peace, there is hope & comfort & purpose to not be measured by this world’s standards, but to know our worth & identity that is found in Christ. God will bring out our gifts to us & lead us in the direction on the road to righteousness that He paved for us. Keep on trusting Him! And know that people looking to Him aren’t perfect & don’t know His perfect plan for your life, and they may still speak as the world speaks. Pray for them. We are all in the battlefield, but keep in mind that we do have the victory, so do not be afraid! ‭‭Jesus is the Man! (John‬ ‭10:25-30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”

‭‭(Psalm 33:16-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.” My fear doesn’t stand a chance Lord when I stand in your love! There is power in your name Lord Jesus! May all chains be broken in the name of Jesus! May we no longer be bound to the things that keep us from hearing God. Don’t allow Satan to get you down in areas that need work in your life. We are a work in progress, but just think, we are being prepared for the Kingdom of God to be in Heaven with our Almighty Father. No more pain, no more tears & no more suffering in Heaven. We were made to rise! And God knows what we need. Let Him in and surrender it all. Feel the weight lifted. Don’t be afraid to just break down and cry to God. And men need to let out that same cry. We are in this together. No need to fear the unknown, but trust God with all things. Keep being His love & His light needed to guide the lost. We are to be the light that overthrows darkness in the lives of those around us & may that fire inside us be ignited all around; it just takes one spark to start a fire. You know there are many things that we go through as followers of Christ. The more we trust God, the more we see what He can do. I know some days I barely have the strength to hold onto His truth in His Word to pull my mind out from where it wants to go based off the familiarity of the past so that I take my eyes off of God, until I say I need you Lord to intervene with my thoughts & remind me of where I am in your loving arms today. He hears me! I need to be reminded that I am not alone & that my sins are forgiven and that God knows what I need, and I can trust Him with the details. He knows what it takes in order for us to get from here to there. Many trials are grooming us to keep us humble to know that without Christ, we can do nothing on our own, but only through Christ & the strength found in Him can we do all things. Because we serve a God that will do the impossible. Do we trust Him enough through the storm? Surrendering to God isn’t about life falling into place & God keeping us from the trials that we will face, but to know that God is with us as we go through these trials that we must face. Nothing is done in vain, but all is for the glory of our Heavenly Father, God. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. God hears our cries, God knows each one of us by name. Let us glorify Him knowing that we have a God that is greater than anyone or anything in this world. Surrender the giants in your life to Him, by giants meaning anything that is too great to be overcome, and He will give you the same strength that was given to David. David wasn’t bigger or stronger than Goliath, but he believed in God and His strength & power & trusted in Him to overcome. We will face many giants in our lives, but we have God with us to defeat them all because we cannot defeat them on our own, and we must not run from them. Call on God and pray to Him and then attack those giants in your life. Every giant in our life doesn’t start out small, like a small sin that was allowed, fed and nurtured to become a bigger sin in our lives to hinder us, but that too shall be defeated. (‭‭I Samuel‬ ‭17:47‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD’s, and He will give you into our hands.”

We will never understand the path that God has someone else on, in the same way that people won’t understand the path He has you on. We are all called to follow Christ and make disciples, and we all have our own path & lessons to help us for what God has purposed for our lives. We need to quit using the definitions of this world to understand what God is calling each one of us to do. Remind others that they have purpose here. We are to be the hands & feet of God. And to stop being defined by our political views or clumping everyone in categories because that goes against God. And I am so tired of seeing Christians being more political & worried about their comfort here, especially when I see many with ill motives, but they claim to be supporting a side that is pro-Christian. I disagree with it all. When I turn to Jesus I hear the cries of God’s people. Who am I to judge someone that doesn’t even have Christ in their lives. I stop and think of the things that I was down for and against & how God has changed my mindset to see people how He sees people. But I also see why we do what we do. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t have a deeper story than what we see or think we know about them. And those we don’t like or are opposed to, Jesus loves them too. And they too have the same gift of grace that has been given to us. And we have no idea what God has purposed for their lives. What I notice is when we focus on the politics & take sides, we miss what God is showing us & the Jesus like spirit is lost in all that. God doesn’t need us to fall for Satan’s traps while thinking we are defending Him. And Satan is the only one enjoying the antics of these political affairs. It is not encouraging at all to hear about politics more than Jesus. God knows the hearts of each one of us, so let Him continue to clean up our minds & acts to set us straight because our minds have been seriously corrupted by Satan. People want to be heard & they want to know that they matter. I’ve been there. We as Christians need to speak louder than the politicians through our actions. We have a responsibility to God to serve Him. Let us not think that this is not a ploy of Satan’s to get people against one another. Again, now I have to ask, if we trust God & His power and know what’s been written, and that He is ultimately in control, what do we fear? We better believe that God knows everything before it happens, same way He knows all of our little secrets. But His message is bigger than what we may hear or be told or what we follow making it a war. When the real battle amongst Christians is greater. Who are we to tell others how to live if we can’t even show the love of Christ, beyond the smiles & God Bless you’s. It’s got to be sincere & felt all over this world. And not through politics. Are any of us prepared for the things that will take place? Not with our focus on politics we’re not. You are being redirected and not in connection with God if you can’t see & be honest about the flaws within the people of those you group together & salute to. God made us all unique & all out of His image, all with our own story. And all fall short and fall into sin. We are not immune to it, but we are saved sinners who are in need of our Lord & Savior, Jesus the Christ, just like the next person. So if you really think you can throw stones, your missing the message. Because many supposedly on the “more Christian” side have racism deep down for some reason or other. And that ugliness is what will stand out instead of the love that we say we have for Jesus. Time to get honest with self! We must believe in the power of the Holy Spirit within us. God has called for us to stand out and be for Him by looking to Him & not social media or politics. Time to cross those lines that divide us & start building bridges that unite us. You can’t possibly understand others if you stay in your groups formed by this world and claim you are living for God. Please stop! People spent so much energy on a particular subject & it got worse. And people were praying. But God has a bigger message for His people. Pay attention! And to everyone don’t judge who God uses. He is God & He has the power to change people and events just like that with a snap! Only Satan thinks he has it all figured out, and we see how those that make themselves gods end up, so just be mindful. Many have a hard time standing up in their own lives, so please quit feeling the need to form these groups for support & turn to Jesus for REAL & Wake up! This is my war cry!!  ‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭4:29-32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

I pray that we all get to a place that we trust God’s timing & we learn patience. Patience is not something that we learn by following the ways of this world. With the advances in technology we’ve become less patient & it trickles down into the ways we go about the different things in our lives with timing. With patience we learn to put the work in, because thinking things will just happen is a fantasy unless God allows it to happen fast. I’ve definitely witnessed prayers being answered immediately or after the thought coming to mind, bam it happened, but many prayers have come with many lessons with a spiritual understanding along the way. I see this journey of life that I’m on is filled with many road trips. With God we learn to wait on things in His time, knowing that He can see things that we can’t. He’s got the blueprint to our lives. During the waiting process we learn so much and can see so much that we learn quickly it’s not about us. No need to complain about the time it’s taking for things to take place, but more about understanding whether we are really ready for what we think we want. God is continuously working on our hearts & always preparing us and equipping us. Some things are right in front of us, but we miss it completely when we are impatient. In another sense, we are not trusting God, and we put our faith in our efforts and what appears to be happening right now, instead in God the Creator of all things. But we must wait on the Lord. Patience has taught me that my body has an amazing way of healing itself. I believe that God has given us the resources that we need to not have to live a life apart from what He put in place for us because we lack patience & trust. Many people compromise their health by running to the doctors with every little thing. So I see what people call a blessing and then I see how God blesses me. When God placed my own business in my heart I didn’t focus on what benefit packages I would be missing, but I believed this is what I’ve been called to do. And if God says it, it will come to pass! He is not a man that He shall lie. After a couple of years in business I gave my life to Christ & God has been using my business to restore my faith in Him & to do what I love to do which is help others & build personable relationships, I can talk about Christ & grow with others as we encourage one another in Christ. God puts the right people in my life at the right time. It has gotten me out of my comfort zone & showed me that by using biblical principles we can live a life more pleasing to God and hold onto His promises as He blesses us in ways that man can’t even fathom let alone actually live out. People promise us the world, but we know there will always something that we are giving up, or they make the cut before those promises are fulfilled. I rather sacrifice for God than man. With God, He slowly removes things from our life that is harmful and adds to our lives giving us an abundance of peace, hope & comfort and more of a sense of purpose. When we cling onto God we see a way out of our circumstances and learn to wait on Him, believing that God will always make a way. We learn that it will take a while for our name to get out there for the clientele, it takes hard work, patience, the willingness to work when called on & taking time to prove our work, but with God, it will all come to pass because His Hand is in it. God is not going to require all these things of us to be dependent on this world that is raping us & stroking the egos of the elite while running hard working people into the ground & destroying our families in the process. We need to regroup and understand what trusting God & believing in God looks like. It will take time to make that money you may want, but in the meantime you learn what you need and what type of wants that need to go. I’ve thought I’ve wanted things yesterday, now looking back I think, what did I know then that God is showing me now when He said hold on because He has a lot of work to still do in me. One of my favorite sayings is… “God doesn’t elect the qualified, but He qualifies the elect.” God knows what we need when we need it. May we learn to have patience through exercising our faith muscles and trusting God. His way in His timing! Many of us can speak upon what it looks like to not wait on God. I’ve learned to be still during the times I would be impatient waiting on others. I began to read, write & mediate during the waiting period. God has been helping me and I know especially if it is opposite of the ways of this world that it’s a good thing to be patient and wait on God. Lately I’ve been seeing the benefits in waiting. Patience alone has helped my life tremendously that I’m no longer anxious about tomorrow, but I had to learn contentment of where I’m at to understand where God is taking me. (‭‭Psalm 37:3-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.”

(Psalm 103:12‬ ‭NKJV) ‬‬“As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.” I want people free in Christ and not shackled to this world. When I think of fighting for this world I get mixed feelings. But when I focus on Christ and what we’ve been commissioned to do, I’m reminded that we have been created with purpose for the glory of God to go out and make disciples. We gotta constantly surrender areas of our lives to Christ! And this includes forgiveness. We limit ourselves when we are unforgiving. God cannot take us where He wants to take us when we refuse to forgive others. Forgiveness frees us in ways we won’t understand until we step out in faith and trust God with the details and just do it. How can we expect to be forgiven, if we cannot forgive others. The truth is we won’t be. ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭NKJV) “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” We can not start comparing our wrongs or our sins with another. Sin is sin to God. We cannot be unforgiving to another and think that we are being forgiven, because it doesn’t work that way. It is detrimental to our spiritual life.  We can only experience so much with God, but we are not fully receiving what He has for us. It’s impossible to please God without faith, and an unforgiving heart is going up against God because when we refuse to forgive & allow ourselves to be stubborn & stuck in the past or just unable to forgive this person again & again, we suffer tremendously. We may not realize it because we have nothing to compare it to, but we do. No one should be quiet about this or act as though it is minor, because it is not. As soon as I forgave others in my life I felt a weight lifted off of me & I was set free, and I’ve grown so much through it. And God’s promises hold true in my life and I am no longer a prisoner of this world. Once I gained an understanding through God’s Word that I’ve been forgiven, it’s hard to believe that I could even think about not forgiving those that have hurt me. Especially when my innocence was stripped from me at a young age & has had a negative impact in my life, I thought how can I forgive them, and some others I could not forgive right away. They caused too much pain and I was angry. But it became difficult to move further in my walk when I was harboring this anger & bitterness inside me towards the individuals that hurt me. Isn’t this the same heart that I love God with? So I’m now definitely in a place in my life that I could never imagine not forgiving someone, and I recognize it’s because I’ve been forgiven and have learned to forgive others. It hit me hard because I have seen what God has done with those things that Satan wanted to destroy me with, it became part of my testimony and now I can see what God can do in the lives of others through my testimonies. Now it’s so easy to forgive someone, I don’t even think twice about it or let it set in. I know who I belong to and who my rewarder is. I just start praying for people instead and focus on what we all face in our lives and that God is so much bigger. And truthfully when we put things in His hands, we see that He will handle those that come up against us, but most of the time we can be so focused on what someone did to us, that we miss the fact that others are in pain, and that we all fall short. We may not understand it all, but when we do it hits us hard in our spirit. How can we have the love of God inside us and not want others to come to God knowing the alternative. It’s not a joke & not one of God’s children would want to see anyone in hell. What we need to deal with is the anger that festers inside us. Especially if we have to keep forgiving the same person, but we can forgive and let go. Forgiving is not giving permission for the behavior of someone else, or accepting what they did, but forgiveness releases us so that we can continue to draw closer to God and not hold any sin against ourselves. God has purposed us for many things. We must not miss out. We break generational curses through forgiveness. A very popular area for forgiveness is for the father or mother that wasn’t there for us. In order to move on and break the curse, we must forgive. We must recognize that it’s hard to get something from someone who doesn’t have it in them themselves. May we through Christ help those in need to discover Jesus the way we do. And if we are not experiencing Him ourselves than we must stop right now & ask for forgiveness for ourselves for not being able to forgive. And ask what it is that we can do to move further with God, comprehending once again that when we don’t forgive others, God will not forgive us. And we know ultimately what that looks like. There is no way around it. I pray that all may come to a place of forgiveness in their heart. (Ephesians‬ ‭4:31-32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

May we continue to pray for one another & lift up the body of Christ. Let’s pray for all relationships to be healed & may we learn to not be ashamed of our past. May we learn to encourage one another in Christ & speak life into the lives of others. May we learn to get to know each other on the REAL. I don’t know how many more stories I will have to hear about how much we don’t know someone. And how many get tossed aside for being different. Not everyone has been open & honest enough or has the ability to understand the root of the issues at hand. We spend so much time telling people who they are, what they need to do & what they need to be thankful for because someone always has it worse, but why compare the pain… pain is pain & it’s the comparing that gets us in trouble. We totally miss out on asking someone how they are really doing & then being moved by compassion & love to use our ability to listen, pray, communicate with them, heal & grow. It has been very beneficial to my walk to know what I was dealing with on the inside & what needed to be addressed in my life to be able to be healed to move on from the past hurts. Many of us have wounds that need to be healed & Jesus is our Healer from the inside out. I know for me God had been showing me so many things around me for years, starting with me that needed attention, when I would cry out to God & just talk to Him & ask for His help, He responded. But it wasn’t until I surrendered my life to Christ that it all began to come together & make sense. I knew that my road wasn’t going to be an easy one with the expected, never mind the unexpected that I would face. But God sent us His Son to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He saved us from ourselves. And as long as we stay focused on God, we will be in tune with what’s taking place, even the things we may not want to believe. There are no secrets hidden from God & we need to get to a place within ourselves, and then with each other, to be open & even if we disagree, we can share our perspective & continue learning from the Word, and know that we are at different places in our walk, and we are all a work in progress. With that being said, don’t underestimate what God is showing someone more mature in their walk. It has nothing to do with age, but all to do with our obedience to God & being a follower of Christ to be led by His examples that gives us the knowledge & wisdom to know what we need to learn and how we can be delivered from our past to move forward in a healthy God-fearing direction with Christ. We try to do so much on our own, and we think that speaking about our pain will cause pain in someone else’s life, but it doesn’t have to when we know that from the beginning, we’ve needed forgiveness & healing. Many have come from the brokenness of families. Many generations have seen a lot & dealt with a lot & even avoided a lot of it was too hurtful, but in any case we must keep in mind that it’s all spiritual warfare. Once we grasp this, we no longer have to look at individuals as a problem, but it’s the repeated behaviors that need an evaluation & understanding of how we operate as an individual & then work with others as we grow as a person. Problems don’t just go away over time, but the individual becomes bitter or learns how to learn of their pain, either way if we just let it go without dealing with things honestly, it will destroy us spiritually. If we can keep the focus on God & the accountability of our actions with ourselves & be the best we can be by looking to God, and always seeing what we can do to improve a situation with the tools we’ve been given in Christ & admit that we need work, we can rest assured that God has us covered. May we all be lifted together in Christ and may we be at peace & know that nothing is too big for God to handle & He’s got us all in His hands. (Ephesians‬ ‭4:20-24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”

Monday February 18, 2019
You can’t be bold in Christ, when Satan has you questioning your own life. Not all of us come to Christ to obtain things in this world, nor do we come to Christ to fit in this world when we’ve felt like an outcast, misfit & that we don’t belong here, because we belong to God. (I Peter‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.” We have found our true identity in Christ and learn to live a life more pleasing to God and so much more fulfilling to our soul. And anger & hostility have no place in our hearts with the abundance of love we feel from God. If we were only looking to be better than what we came from, some of us wouldn’t need Christ to do that. But to go towards the direction that God has already been calling us when He separated us, is where we belong. God is the One orchestrating the moves of His people, calling us to be different & calling us His. We all come to Christ for different reasons and some will believe in Him and some will be followers of Him. There is a difference. Unless we are willing to bear our cross daily & surrender to Christ daily, we are not truly going to understand someone who is. But in no means may we question a person living for Christ when it’s His power within us, but to take a step back & point back to ourselves & say what do I need to do in my life to be more in line with what God has called for us to do in this life. Most of the time it’s us moving out of the way and understanding where our strength comes from & remaining humble. We must know that we have purpose & that life is more than what we drive, what kind of house we live in, whether we own or rent, have addictive behaviors or love to look down on others, found a trade or went to the top college, it doesn’t matter to God if our heart is far from Him, we cannot satisfy God with things. We can talk about Him or not, attend church or not, if we have not turned to God, and if we have not surrendered to Christ, we are not going to stand out in this world boldly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, so we need to stop walking around grumbling at what we see. We must seek God on a daily basis; it doesn’t mean that we feel that we have lost God, but rather it is condescending when people don’t get what God is about & speak that way. We are to seek God diligently. (Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ NKJV) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” People for sure come to Christ with different motives, and plenty with brokenness that come to Christ, and those who live by the spirit become pure to God as our sins are cleansed by the blood of Christ, and only God can do the impossible. However many too will be led astray, especially with the many false preachers of today. Many are still moving with this world & people get impressed by the following they may have, or some words that click within, but measure it up to the Word of God & we see the deceit. We all know that those true followers of Christ will be the minority. And when we think of the life that Christ had, we know that we too will be rejected, but look where Jesus is & just think where we will be with Him. No one or nothing can fill that void that our soul is longing for, even if we don’t realize it, Jesus is who we need. May we all be at peace & stand hopeful in Christ & follow after Him. (Romans‬ ‭8:36-39 ‭NKJV‬‬) “As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

(Ezekiel‬ ‭36:26‬ ‭NKJV)‬‬ “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” We must remember that we don’t have to try so hard with Christ in our lives to model after, to seek after & to give us the strength to believe what God has prepared for us. By surrendering to Christ, we are given a new heart. A new heart that has been renewed by the Spirit and grace of God. A new heart which give us a new will, with new desires & new purposes. We are no longer the people that we once were while saturated in our sin, but the old man has passed away, and now we have been given a new heart to love and to do the will of God. It is natural, while we were trapped in sin for our heart to be hardened. The hardening of the heart is natural to man who are after the flesh. The hardness of the heart cannot be removed by ourselves or by ministers of the Word, but only through Christ. Many people speak of love in this world, but the moment someone disagrees with them, they try to be hurtful, and that is not love. We cannot argue the truth in the Bible. We all need to learn & grow in Christ in order to fully have a relationship with God & to understand His Word. We cannot twist scripture around to please our emotions because we cannot handle what is written. When we keep looking to Christ, He keeps us from veering off the narrow path. It’s not always easy to digest what we read, but it’s refreshing to know that we have the One True God that loves us enough to correct us and show us the way to live according to His Word, not what feels good. But the more we gain an understanding the more we can see the good in all things. (II Corinthians‬ ‭6:17-18‬ ‭NKJV) “Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.”’ Many people are falling into depression. Don’t we think that the truth found in God’s Word can lift one’s spirit. The truth is what sets us free; not saying what feels good that tickles many ears, but through truth we learn to grow into a relationship with Christ that renews our soul completely. If we are to be experiencing the kind of love that no longer has us looking to what is pleasing to our flesh, we are experiencing the love that God has intended for all of us. But He knows that not all will come to Him. And many of us will have our struggles and battles, and this is why it’s crucial that we surrender our will daily and recognize that we need a new heart & renewal of our minds. We are not to be held captive from the past, but we are to move forward together in Christ doing our part to encourage one another to be who God created us to be knowing that what applies for me, applies for you. And what God has for you, He has for me. Let us turn to Him. Let us pray! Let us be more about pleasing God and deny ourselves. (II Corinthians‬ ‭7:1‬ ‭NKJV)‬‬ “Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

(I John‬ ‭4:17-18‬ ‭NKJV) ‬‬“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” Love & truth go together! Let’s not forget how people tripped over themselves on Thursday with love & go deeper in it today. We don’t need a day to declare love when the day on a deeper spiritual level totally misrepresents anything we stand for as true followers of Christ. Love is what we all need & love is what we have been called to do from God & by God! Love goes deeper than any material thing or what money can buy. Love never gives up. Love is action and should be felt within so that it can overflow into the lives of those around us on a REAL level. Love is not hidden. Love is forgiving our Brothers & Sisters over & over again. Love is gentle. Love is loyalty. Love is selfless. Love is truth. Love is strength. Love is honor. Love is protection. Love is not to be thrown around or like a light switch that just gets turned off. Love is deep & penetrating to our soul. Love is unity. Love is imperfections & flaws. Love doesn’t discriminate. Love goes beyond words. Love rights our wrongs. Love is unconditional. Love wipes out anger.  How we love is important. Love and truth are what we need to thrive and to stay on the right path, when those things fail, we suffer inside and the cycles continue as many veer off the path of righteousness. Without love, we have nothing!! “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭NKJV) To grow colder & bitter as we get older is the plan to defeat us, but God’s plans are way bigger & He is love and has created us in His own image. Drawing closer to God and relying on the strength found in Christ to love & to forgive heals us & makes us better able to receive & give love. We become who God created us to be. The way we treat others has everything to do with how we truly think of God. We cannot say that we love God & have a relationship with Him, without accepting Christ & loving one another. He can hear us & is for us, but we do get in His way when we choose to do opposite from who He is. We will fall short in this life, but we are not defeated in Christ. Many will speak of His name, but have turned many off by the lack of love in their hearts for others. And yes it’s absolutely facts that if we cannot love & forgive others, God will not forgive us. We have no right to be unforgiven. When true love of God is felt within us, we can forgive others. Forgiveness releases us and makes a complete difference in our hearts so that many can see our light shine brightly for the Lord! We are called to be a light and it begins with the love of God & Jesus who is the light of the world. We cannot only show love when we get our way or when things are done the way we want them done. God is showing us something different. Love is not found in and cannot be defined by the world, but through Christ all things are made new and His love cannot be contained any longer. Love perseveres! Before we can see more love, we must be more love. Let love be contagious! We don’t need to wait for the day to be declared or a big announcement on social media. We are walking billboards for the Lord! Represent!! Much love to all of you! Love conquers all because He conquered death & rose on the third day & He will return again soon. Thank you Jesus! (‭‭I Peter‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) ‘“And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”’

(‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13:1-7 ‭NKJV‬‬) “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” Love is expressed more deeply every single day of the year & it’s more than the candy & flowers, but love is sacrifice & patience. Love is forgiveness, Love is not hurtful and full of games, but love is real & from the heart & anybody giving of themselves should never feel like a fool or naive for loving the way Jesus teaches us to love. Anyone playing with another’s persons heart will have to answer to God. For all married, I’m praying that your marriage is filled with God’s promises for your lives together knowing that you are joined together to fulfill what God has set out for the two of you to do. And for those of us single folks, keep seeking more of God & be thankful that He is preparing you & setting you aside for greater things to come. Just keep in mind that God knows better about what is right for us and if He has someone for us we will know them by their fruit. (John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NKJV)‬‬ “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” God’s love is like no other…. His love is unconditional never ends!!

May we be mindful of all the traps in this world. Don’t get caught up with nostalgia because there is definitely a bigger plan of deception at the root of what appears to be childhood memories & different periods throughout our lives that stand out to make us feel good when we think about them. If we could see what we contribute to & what we are really being a part of, it would blow people’s minds. But many are blinded by the many things taking place around us. It gets harder to even participate in many things, such as holidays that get acknowledged, but I would rather not participate in them. Especially being all in for God & with a lot more wisdom comes a whole lot of understanding enough to want to live differently because I trust God only. And I know that people trying to destroy God’s children will be going after our minds and getting us caught up in this world, so that knowledge that we are taught from this world & contained in the books written by those using mind control & running Hollywood amongst major corporations, etc. playing on emotions all through what they want to create in order for control. We learn right there from the Word of God how to overcome it all through Christ as God places us on a whole other path towards righteousness. Basically we are in our own lane when we are rolling with Jesus. Many times I get to this point & I look to my left & then to my right & there are only a few that stand with me. It can be discouraging, but then I remember my purpose. For all the things that can be stacked up against us, God does His most amazing work. Moving in a direction against the norm is not easy & not something that we try to do, but it happens the more we see that we can trust God by stepping out in faith and following God to see that for every problem there is a solution through Christ. There are times in each of our lives when God has given us a way out or is showing us another way, but we hesitate through our lack of trust and faith in what God can and will do because we are let down often in life by others or ways that we’ve followed that have failed. Once we realize that we need to surrender all of ourselves and areas of our lives to God, that much easier trusting God becomes because we know that He is in control & we see Him show up more and more. But when we are set to accomplish things on our own looking to God slightly for direction as we continue to slide our way back in the driver seat for comfortability, which ultimately leads us on the path to destruction because it’s a much wider and accessible path as long as we are still a part of this world, the less we get what God is doing. But the more we seek God, the more we see that we are being taken by God in another direction and onto more of an unfamiliar ground; and this is where our faith is met head on with only one way and that’s to trust God. Trusting God is not punishment, but it is preparation for our spirit so that our flesh learns to line up with God’s will for our lives. May we all continue to see our lives with God as a journey of learning and trusting the One who created each one of us & the One who is in control, and whom we should lean on at all times. (Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-8‬ ‭NKJV)‬‬ Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.”

I’m back! Sometimes we all just need to take a step back & take some time away from what we do from day to day & pray for more understanding & another approach. Continually it’s important to  make sure that we are listening to God and following what He wants from us. We need to look at life from another perspective to gain more of an understanding of God’s Word. All these things that take place daily & the hardships & struggles that we face are needed to get us to a place with God where we trust in Him and our faith is in Him wholeheartedly. There are many things pulling at us for our attention & there are many things that appear innocent that are not in line with God’s Word. Many of us are following the traditions of man and continually go through life just repeating history. There are many things exposed and more out in the open, yet it still remains a mystery when looking on how to proceed with the many problems we face in this world without recognizing our need for God, and by recognizing that our solutions come from Christ. There are many things that we try to accomplish in our own strength, and it keeps us in this mentality that we must at some point know how to do this on our own, by it’s contrary to God’s Word, we can only accomplish the things at hand through our strength found in Christ and by continually looking to God so that He can prepare us for what’s ahead, and so that He gets all the glory in our lives. We can clearly & continually see a pattern from the beginning of time of our desperate need for God, and the importance of our obedience to Him and more of an urgency to turn away from sin & from following the patterns of this world while trying to find God’s blessing, instead of following the truth & seeing God’s blessings in our lives when we look to His Son, and through His grace & mercy which has been given to us for the chance to be with Him, and the availability of His Word & our knowledge of Him through Christ and the wisdom that comes from God. We are less in tune with God when we are chasing the things of this world and making our life decisions based on finances & what we feel is good. God will get His way, whether we are moving in the direction that God is taking us by seeking more of Him, or if we choose to take the harder route as God continues to call us to get us in line with His will for our lives by disrupting different areas of our lives. Let us not be too stubborn that we miss what God is trying to show us by looking at the world for spiritual interpretations when we need to be in God’s Word & in prayer. We must face the realization that this world is moving in the opposite direction of where God is taking us, but everything we see doesn’t take God by surprise because He is in control at all times. Let us be reminded of this and feel the peace, comfort, hope & love of Christ and share it with others. Many will find it difficult to follow the path that God has laid out before us by trying to make sense of what God wants from us compared to the things taking place in this world. It’s easy to get caught up in the things of this world, but we must stay in tune with the things pertaining to God. God’s Word is very clear of our need for our Savior & our need for drawing closer to God and not turning away because of our carnal desires, but may we all be led spiritually & be paying attention so that we can overcome the spiritual battles in our lives knowing that we have the victory in Christ, and that as long as we keep our eyes on God and march to the beat of a different drum, we will not be overthrown by evil, but God is preparing a way & protecting His people; may we have faith in God over the things of this world. May we use the grace given to us by God as the opportunity to do what’s right, and grow deeper in our relationship with Him and slowly let go of our dependency of this world knowing we don’t want to be controlled by Satan, but we must live knowing that our freedom is found in Christ and God has overcome this world. (Hebrews‬ ‭13:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
