Encouraging Word

Saturday January 19, 2019
(‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭35:3-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” It’s really time to make up our minds. Are we serving God or money? We cannot be caught up with politics. Because if we are truly seeking God & looking to God, we can see the bigger picture. It’s not a time to be thinking about how great this country can be through politics, but we must look to Jesus and get right with God. Quit thinking that it’s the Christian thing if you look through the eyes of a politician when we need to be looking through God’s eyes to see this world for what it really is. Why is anyone trying to be comfortable in this world, when this is not our home. While people march around for pro life we aren’t even protecting the children here. Many children are being sold for sex & human trafficking is so bad that when I’m driving on the freeway, that is the sign I see posted with warnings and a number to call. Something is missing and we know that we lost our way as a nation. We have fallen deep into our sinful nature. We must wake up and start getting into the book of revelation for a reality check. We are not to be living in our best times here. If we are going to call ourselves Christians, then let’s live like it. WALK THE WALK like Jesus did! Start speaking up about Jesus the way you do the President & all the politics that goes with it. Really look to Jesus as your Lord & Savior & know that God’s wrath is real. For every time we want to sleep on the truth & chase after our idols, Satan is happy. We will get more & more wake up calls through natural disasters. I cry for the souls of God’s children, but I’m detached from my emotions because I know truth. I don’t worry or fear death. I don’t worry or fear famine. I don’t worry or fear about any of the things of this world or anything that man can do because I know that I belong to God. I hear God and I’m comforted by Him daily. I go where He leads me and I trust Him wherever He takes me. I’m quiet when needed & speak up when prompted by the Holy Spirit. I’m not distracted. He’s made a way. I have no love for things and less desires of my own. I am free from the shackles of this world because He calls me His child and I know that I’m His. He sent His son for me! And who the Son sets free is free indeed. I won’t be shaken in my faith, for I know no weapons formed against me shall prosper. Do we forget that God builds a wall of protection around us? It doesn’t matter what we do, for as long as we follow after the desires of our heart and hang onto things of this world & more concerned about what someone will take from us, do we forget that nothing belongs to us, but that it all belongs to God. And who really has to try hard to take when many have already offered up their souls to Satan. Did we forget that God says, “vengeance is mine”? But as long as we are protecting this nation and fall into idolatry, no one but Jesus can protect us from the wrath of God. No wall that He cannot tear down. And the churches are in big trouble. Because we have failed to be the church. All the different denominations out there & all the discord between believers to the point that politics has made its way in there too. Church leaders appointing people in positions that they are not to be in. Recklessly & aimlessly we go through life and think that it’s God’s will. But we no longer hear His voice, but instead we listen to those claiming to be speaking on His behalf. Well guess what as long as money is still their idol, they are not hearing God. Many hear the voice of Satan because they’ve committed to him in their ways. (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” If we think that if our good deeds way out the bad, we are good, we lost our way. It’s not at all how it works folks. So patting yourself on the back for being a “good person” isn’t pleasing to God. Because his definitions aren’t of this world. And He knows who doesn’t make time for Him because He knows our idols. And when I look around it is clear to me through many lives that God is not first. And let me tell you, it’s not done in secret. Because when God is first in our lives, you’re darn right it shows. And not the house you live in, the cars you drive, clothes you wear, jewelry, vacations taken, etc. because those are a clear indication of following the desires of our heart and looking away from God. The more we draw closer to God the less we want of this world. So that is my first indication. Someone saying they just like nice things, isn’t getting it. Because that goes against God. We should be getting rid of stuff not accumulating it. Because ALL the evil in this world is fed by the love of money. If this word today gets under your skin, then get back in your bible and pray for discernment. Wake up!

If we believe our call is to just sit back & blend in here, flirting with this world, then I guess our destiny is to fall back into the world & away from God! The devil is a liar!!! Press on with perseverance & be strengthened in your faith to overcome. When we talk with other Christians we notice over time many have fallen away from the faith in a matter of time. Because over time any gift loses its flavor, and we become ungrateful. So then with this being said, why do we NOT think it’s important to be obedient to God’s Word? Could it be that we are NOT experiencing the same things as someone else, and maybe we just can’t comprehend that there is so much more to life in Christ. How about seeing things through the eyes of the grace we’ve began given, and trust God & be encouraged. How can we say we have faith, if we aren’t willing to be obedient. Our obedience is faith! Don’t make your core group of people doubters of their own faith. How far we go with our gift is up to us. If it weren’t up to us to choose God over this world, than everything is done in vain, but NO! God will get the glory in the lives of those transformed by the Word of God! If it wasn’t a choice of free will, then everyone would be singing songs of praise in unison, but we are not. We can’t even agree as Christians looking at the same bible, but want to point the world to Christ. Doing the same things over expecting different results… it’s insanity. So are we taking God’s gift of grace & accepting Jesus for our salvation, and that’s it. Some look like, that’s it. Well people of this world can even do better than that. How is that not selfish or being a taker in life. How do we show our thankfulness for what we have received? I hear people quickly tell others that we do nothing, it’s all because of God. Okay thanks for the reminder as if we didn’t know. Taking scripture out of context and running with it. Wow! Dang! Am I to just sit back here then and act like nothing is required of me. Sounds like a lazy mans way out, but not a child of God! That was not even my mentality before Christ, so it’s especially not now. So many of us were lost because life wasn’t being spoken into our lives & sin is prevalent in this world & we made the choice to walk away from God. But we do have a responsibility. We belly ache about the world, point out the sin in others, try to show love, but are we truly relying on the strength that can only come from Christ to do what is required of us? Or is this just another script that Jesus doesn’t get the lead role in? How do we act when adversity hits? Do we show up as our old selves on the scene, or do we walk & talk differently? Do not be content with complacency! Be encouraged in your faith! Stand strong in your faith! And rise up as men & women in the faith! A lot of us work hard for that money we need to survive, so let us be willing to make God first in our lives and thrive!! (John‬ ‭14:12-18‬ ‭NKJV‬) “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

‭‭(Galatians 2:21 NKJV) “I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” Jesus IS enough! I pray that more can feel His love & know the peace that only He can give us. There is no one or nothing else like Jesus. Not a statue of Buddha, not the burning of sage, not a yoga class, nothing but Jesus for peace; for He is the Prince of Peace. When we follow closely after Christ, we experience the fruits of the spirit and we find complete peace & rest in Jesus.  We cannot have Jesus in our hearts and be giving in to all these other things; it goes against God. People get offended of the truths in the Bible, but we need to be reconstructed from the inside out. We need to be purged of our old ways & embrace the newness that comes with Christ, once the veil is removed. May we have ears to hear and eyes to see. The only way to be more like Christ is to follow after His ways, not when we feel like it, but at all times. We must be held accountable to a higher standard that Christ has showed us while remaining a humble servant. We are to witness to others the truth about Christ through our actions that reflect who He is & our thankfulness & humbleness for His sacrifice & the gift of grace & mercy from our Heavenly Father & by preaching the gospel of truth. I want to encourage each one of us to stand firm in our faith & to walk it all out in faith by trusting God wholeheartedly. He loves each one of us and we must know that we are to be made new in order to please Him. We cannot go about life the same way we have. No matter how good any of us believe we were or are, with the many supporters that say we don’t have to change a thing, we need to know that we do fall short without Christ & the renewal of our minds. We are not to be the same people we used to be. If we believe that we don’t need changing, our problem is buried beneath our pride, and I pray that we can recognize our real struggles from within knowing it’s all spiritual & that we need our spiritual defense which is found in the Word of God & through Jesus as our living example. None of this is made possible without the prompting of the Holy Spirit to move us towards God as we move forward in a more godly manner to know that God is the one for whom we must please, as we love on all of His people. May we cast no one aside, but may we pray for all to come to know Christ & follow after Him as true followers, and may we be reminded that we have purpose here & God doesn’t make mistakes. In Jesus Mighty name may we all come in agreement to lift up all of our Brothers & Sisters in Christ, and may the church (body of believers) say Amen! For it is no longer I who live, but He who lives in me. (Romans‬ ‭12:9-13‬ ‭NKJV) “‬‬Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.”

(‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.” Let us not injure the cause of Christ with our judgment. Let us use good judgment as a form of determination, by first taking a good look at our own conduct. We must know that we all need to become better people & we need to be led by the Holy Spirit. If we are lashing out at someone and passing judgment based off of our opinions, we must recognize it as that. We are not to cause our Brothers & Sisters to stumble. If we know something is not good for someone and if we are not encouraging them spiritually, we must refrain from our opinions & judgments towards others and not cause another to sin. What comes out of our mouths and how we treat one another is what will be judged. If we know that someone has abused alcohol or drugs & struggles with it, we should know that for them there is no such thing as social or casual drinking for them & as a Christian not to serve alcohol to others knowing that it is a struggle & causes a lot of harm, not only from someone’s past, but continually it will be a problem & is a problem for many whether it is admitted or not. If someone is overweight & struggling with eating disorders, we don’t need to offer them a bunch of junk food and sweets. If someone is single and trying to follow the right path & refrain from sexual relations, we don’t need to talk about sex and push their thoughts in that direction. And when we do these things we shouldn’t, we must ask for forgiveness for causing our Brothers & Sisters to stumble, and be accountable to God. We must dig deeper to the root of each individual thing that we struggle with. We don’t want to cause one another to sin. We are not to push someone into becoming angry, or jealous or envious. We must be more accountable with the way we approach one another. We must start with ourselves and then our families. Each family makes us this world, and every family, with the exception of a few, have issues. We are not alone. But pride seems to be the dominating factor here. Let us let go of pride & see more of God and less of us this year. And the only way that any of this can be accomplished is through Christ. Without Christ, we cannot defeat Satan & his many schemes. We must stay vigilant in our walk and truly lead others to Christ and be mindful of our conduct. People cannot wait to call out the woman who has an abortion, but with the judgment on those that have fallen away from God and chose their own way, as an example, the unmarried woman gets pregnant & is condemned for her sexual sin, she may take the route of eliminating the pregnancy knowing that she was already condemned & judged by others. But is that who Christ is?  We must seek the truth about sin and living righteously, but we must not forget the cross & forgiveness. Let’s not reach out our hands in forgiveness just to later chastise this person for their sin, but lead them to the cross. We must live better through Christ, but know that our sins are forgiven when we repent. When looking to God we can be sure that He will correct us; and He does that through His Word & through us knowing the truth about how we are to live for God. I pray we all become the peacemakers that God created us to be and it starts with God and taking a good look at ourselves from within. We were made out of the image of God, and through Christ we can be who God created us to be. But if we are not helping, we are only harming one another. Let us edify one another in Christ & show our love to one another instead of using harsh words against each other.

(‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭6:9-11‬ ‭NKJV‬) “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” Being single we tend to dodge many bullets from those in relationships especially. Even men are so cruel as to who a woman dates, without anybody even understanding the spiritual battles we incur if we’re not on guard, through the double standards alone we will be swallowed up by deception. So many in relationships need to focus on who they bring to the table. Especially these men who think the women by their side even have their back spiritually, and are all that. It’s very obvious that when we choose sex before marriage, which is committing sexual sin, no matter how we try to dissect it, understanding it, reject it, hate it, cover it up, it’s the truth according to the Word of God, and it will cloud our judgment and leave us open to all sorts of problems. And many even, if marriage is chosen, after the fact by feeling convicted of this sin to move forward, have gone in a direction that God hasn’t necessarily approved. Anyone marrying couples needs to counsel their couples before marrying them. Allow them to dry out from sex a bit and make sure that this is the partner that God wants for them. Sex is what lures a lot of us to stay in relationships that we should not even be in, in the first place. Even if it’s not the focus of the relationship, we let our guard down from the schemes of Satan when we are driven by our own lusts. And most of the time, later find out that the partner we chose is no way near a relationship with Christ like we thought. God didn’t ordain that marriage. Christ-centered is on a whole other level. And it is a married couples responsibility before talking to others about marriage to have their marriage in the direction that Christ is leading them. Not perfect, but speaking according to the Word so that while the speaking is taking place it is being received and something real in their own lives. And single people looking to the Lord, must warn others of those using flattering words, who may even talk about God & pretend to understand your relationship with Christ, but you being a lover of God, and forgiver of sin and understanding, & looking at other marriages where people chose their own way, listening to others that say don’t judge, this man or woman is spiritually robbing you slowly because you missed out on every sign to warn you. Most of the time we are to focused on only ONE aspect of being a follower of Christ, forgetting about all the warning signs to be mindful of. So no one is doing anybody a favor with all that non judging talk. Again, go back to the Word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to interpret scripture for you and discuss it, if need be, with others truly looking to the Word & be on guard. Don’t allow those struggling in their own sin & blinded tell you what you see while they are drowning in their own sin because it just may be too late for them. We need to take our heads out of the sand. Listen it’s never to late for what God can do, but we must encourage one another into spiritually healthy relationships; not focused on the external gratifications and expectations. There are many that want something real, but they must have a relationship with Christ and be whole & find their identity in Him before coming together in unity with someone else. Every marriage needs to be challenged to go in this direction and every single person needs to know, God has set you aside because He has someone He is preparing for you as He continues to prepare you for them. Be patient and continue to seek more of God in all you do. Don’t sell yourself short or fall into the traps of sexual sin. ‭‭(I Corinthians‬ ‭6:15-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” Are we going to admit that we need to hear these things to keep us on track? Even married you cannot go lusting after another man or woman and justify it. It’s wrong period. But we do fight daily with our flesh. They way we beat this is by not down playing the dangers because someone is offended. Plenty of times my flesh wants to be offended, when it’s struggling with sin. Oh well, I cannot give into it. But I understand that we cannot put ourselves in tempting situations, and we cannot save ourselves. We need the strength that comes from Jesus and the Word of God planted in our hearts to overcome all sin.

Sunday January 6, 2019

When we go out and speak God’s Word with others and speak about our testimonies of Christ we are planting seeds, and what we must keep in mind is that all seeds are not planted in good soil. We need to really dig deep in the Word (the seed) and take a look at our own lives and see what kind of people (soil) we really are. We come to Christ and proclaim His name, but there are many, many, many references in the Bible as to the different types of people we see today. Everything we need comes from the Bible. Many people need to see that someone with a doctorate degree has written a book in order to believe what’s written in the Bible. They get excited to tell you what so & so said. I simply reply.. it’s all in the Bible. Everything we need to know is in the Bible. We are warned many times in the Bible about people to be appearing as though they are of God, and followers of Christ, but who are not. They need deliverance from the many spirits that they may be carrying with them. But for some reason people are only learning from a once a week sermon. We will continue to love and pray and be an example to others through how we live our lives. But do not ask anyone who has given their life, to be more like Christ, to change His true message, just because it’s too much for you. Being offended by the Word of God is between you & God. WE ARE TO LIVE UNAFRAID & UNASHAMED!! Now, let’s get back on with where we are in our journey with Christ. The seed is the Word of God…. We are the soil. The Wayside people are like many religious leaders; they hear the Word of God, but refuse to believe His message. There are Rock people who follow Jesus, believed His message, but NEVER do anything about it. There are Thorn Patch people who are overcome by their worries and materialism, and leave no room in their lives for God. And then, there are Good Ground people, not like ANY OTHER group, follow Jesus no matter what the cost. Now honesty, because God already knows, which type of soil are you? You see we are to spread the Word of God, His message, to others. And the seeds we plant, some will be planted in good soil, while others will not. We need to grow in our faith, and walk closely with God on our journey. (‭‭Luke‬ ‭8:11-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.”

Without submitting to Christ and allowing Him to be who we learn from and actually walk the walk with, we cannot fully understand and gain the knowledge given to us from God. No man can teach us what God can. Live according to the Bible. I am not the same woman I once was. I fall plenty of times, but each time I get up, I’m closer than I was. God’s Word convicts me, corrects me, whips me, I cry for days. I go alone with God. And I come out stronger and wiser than before. Not because of who I am. But because of who HE is. His power is living within me. And His power should be living in you. Understand this! You do not come to God looking one way and not be transformed by His Word, in which we ALL must be walking differently! Not just through motions, but through obedience to God. And not through feelings & emotions, but let God handle those, and let your faith be your rod. ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭8:16-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”

(‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:4-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”
For when I am weak…. He is strong! Stop! Stop allowing Satan to deceive so many that we love. Why do we allow him to use people to discredit what God is doing and how He is moving in the lives of others to reach His people. Don’t look at the people, but see the spirits presenting themselves or listen to others with the gift of discernment. Because whether you see it or not, it still exists. Surrendering to Christ isn’t supposed to be a selfish act, but submission to Him. Without Him we will not be able to withstand spiritual warfare. So armor up God’s people and wake up! And not on this bogus “stay woke” while still being blinded nonsense. Why chant the things of this world while it is enslaving people all around. We cannot have one foot in the church and one foot in the world. Either we go all in for God or not! Pay attention to what is taking your focus. Idolatry is a thin line. Be aware! Move away from the patterns of this world in order to not conform to it or be a part of it. We have a lot of work to do. We are not welcomed here, and neither was Jesus! Get out there Christians and speak truth into the lives of others. No sugar coated or watered down gospel, but the gospel of truth. Jesus Christ! And not you smarty pants who got anger behind your twisted truth trying to control others. Don’t fall for the spirit of manipulation or fear; REMEMBER THIS…. God didn’t give us a spirit of fear. We are to move in a different direction and be less of this world. We must encourage one another to do this. We must encourage one another to stay armored by the Word of God. It is important in order to have more understanding in the Word. And we know that wisdom is the application of this knowledge given to us from the God. Wisdom comes to those looking to the Lord. Some men need to hear, it’s time to leave the milk and cookies alone, it’s time to eat meat now. Man up! If you don’t have a woman by your side fighting for you spiritually, dig deeper into that in the Word & know your position as a man if you have a wife. And be aware of that Jezebel spirit! Many have just traded in one religion for another. Many are missing out on Jesus. With Him & through Him, there is continual peace & hope & strength. We must be honest if we are not being transformed, it’s because we don’t realize it’s more than a “Jesus thing” we follow, but we are followers & warriors for Christ! And unlike this worldly system, God equips those ready for battle, and He doesn’t use mind control to use us as killers. His power is enough. We must glorify the Creator more than it’s creations. (‭‭I John‬ ‭4:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”

If being broken keeps us from straying from the right path, and if we can continue to learn and grow deeper into a relationship with Christ through our trials, than we know that God has us where He wants us and we are reminded that He is in control. And if we can turn to our Brothers & Sisters in Christ and speak about our sin to one another & repentance knowing how much we need Jesus to save us from ourselves, and the love that God has put inside of us to speak His truth from His Word, we can be certain of what we do not see… Hope! Jesus & only Jesus has the victory over our enemies & victory over sin, & we can see the victory & be the victory through Christ. We, on our own are no match for Satan and we cannot outwit him. He knows scripture even better than most of us. But there is power in the name Jesus! There is comfort in knowing that He is with us. There is healing found in Him & strength found through Him. His love & sacrifice has redeemed us, given us the chance to be more like Him. When we are delivered from things, we are not supposed to go back to it, because if we think we have a handle on it now, we are being deceived once again. If it’s still not good for us we need to refrain from those things we used to do. (Matthew‬ ‭15:10-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” May we lift one another up in Christ & be reminded that through Him we are new creations and our identity is found in Him. Without a Christ-centered relationship, our relationships will not withstand the schemes of Satan & his spiritual attacks. How do we sit back in our own families and allow those in broken marriages dictate what kind of relationship God wants us in. If I can say to this woman in the family that she needs to be in a christ-centered relationship because it’s obvious that her past relationships were not heathy, why is it a double standard if a woman entering into that same family trying to save a man is a hero? Many women, if we are honest are taking on roles they have no business pursuing. Not all relationships are to be restored if only one is truly turning their lives to Christ. Did anyone marry with the knowledge of Christ? We are forgiven through Him. God is not instructed women to stay in abusive relationships. We can forgive, but that doesn’t mean we are to stay. I remember mother-in-laws loving me because they believed I was their only hope for their son. But we know that’s a set up for failure. No exceptions! That’s pride if you think you can repeat history and get different results without Christ. Only difference, you have not experienced Christ or anything healthy to compare to, and many surround themselves around the same people not speaking truth. (Ephesians‬ ‭5:22-27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” How can we do this without Christ? And I would think that anyone talking outside of this, just want others to join their misery. Because if a marriage was renewed, strengthened & built on Christ, there would be a union and there would be no other advice to another except to have a christ-centered relationship, and not knock those trying to do what’s right because you chose not to. Some of us been there done that. Just remember whoever you are married to, you represent one another. So look at what you’re attached to. Are they doing their part? God did not give us a spirit of fear!  And so many have a fear of the unknown. Trust God with everything by surrendering it all to Him!

If only the people that have turned to this world for acceptance would understand that we as true followers of Christ don’t fit in here and have turned to so many things to escape from the pain, but through Christ we have strength to overcome. Our battles are spiritual. We cannot take one another lightly. How many stories do we have to hear that no one knew how depressed someone was, or what was going on in their lives. Do we create an environment for others to feel comfortable to speak freely?  Some even get so down and take their own life. To follow a worldly system that only leads us in a direction of self destruction and enticed by things that make others rich and so many poor, is a wake up call that we need to examine where exactly we fit into this design. We have sold our souls by allowing so many of today’s conveniences to blind us from what really matters. If we are not taking care of our own families and looking out for one another, we have truly given in to a system. Many have made money their God in their hearts. Maybe this world would call you frugal or cheap watching every dime that comes in and out, pinching pennies, but what is it that you fear? It’s clear that a person that lives like that has also made money their God as well, not just the rich. We are to be giving! We are taught to rely on a world that we are NOT to depend on. We have been taught to look for certain things like good insurance plans and companies with big benefit packages, etc. Okay, but don’t try to convince anyone that those things are of God. Those big companies are all about money. Fast forward those things no longer exist. Longevity on a job, no longer. Anything that we put our faith in and focus on that we tend to make our God will crumble eventually. And no medical, science or anything will be able to keep up with every strain of cancer, but God knows exactly what’s taking place inside of us. But again, do we turn to Him? Pay attention to what is really taking place and divorce this world because this is not our home and we are to bump heads with this world. If you are getting comfortable here, having the time of your life, you are in fact further away from God than you realize. To be untouched by things taking place, and no prompting from the Holy Spirit to take action, the Holy Spirit is not living inside of you. And those that are married, we are not to hide behind our spouse. Too many women are carrying men. We are commanded by God to take care of our own. Men are to be leading the household. If this is not taking place, a man needs to go before the Lord and get right. And a woman needs to have a relationship with Christ and submit to Him in order to submit to the man God is preparing for her that will lead her. We are to understand that what we are willing to give up for God, does not go unnoticed by Him. Do we trust Him? We need to stop interpreting scripture to fit in our own box or twist God’s love to fit in a box. We are called to judge righteously, so all that “don’t judge” talk, make sure it’s in context with scripture because many people of this world speak that same language. God will convict us, thankfully, so remember that. How about we be honest as to where we fall short and not twist scripture around or pick & choose what we are going to follow, and justify our ungodly actions. We must be accountable to future generations by being honest in our walk. (I Timothy‬ ‭4:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.”

We try our best as parents, but isn’t that a reminder right there that we can only do so much and that we need to let go of the control, and love our kids into a relationship with Christ. “Kids, I know mama is not enough, we need Jesus.” We don’t have to worry, because we serve a Mighty God. No parent is better than, or less concerned, or not facing the same problems, as things seem to come around to the next generation, but what will we do? We will do all we can do by leading. We must lead by example and when we are falling short and struggling with sin, we must call it out. Let us not justify our sin as though it is normal and not needing to be addressed, because it does. We are human and in the need of a Savior, we need to discuss this with our kids so they have understanding as to what’s taking place spiritually and break it down to what it looks like in our lives. We must grow together and want to be better people and strive to get into a relationship with God. We must reflect that relationship in our own lives and teach our children to turn to Christ, knowing our best falls short of God’s glory. With Christ and through Him alone, only then, can we get through and learn from the things in life that we are faced with. No need to feel ashamed of what comes our way, it’s just up to us to know when to surrender it all to God, and when to pray and get in God’s Word and listen for Him each day, and rely more and more on His strength and guidance. We will face trials in life, but there will be different results and peace during the process, even in moments when it can be painful, because we as believers can rest assure that God has us covered. And this is our only guarantee, not what we can do, but always and only what God can do. All glory to God! We don’t have to figure things out and allow our minds to reach an outcome or verdict by the limitations of our minds through recollections of the past, but we can put our trust in God and allow Him to work things out, and be obedient to God. When we ask God for help, we must ask what He wants from us and what it is that He wants us to learn. We are not victims and don’t need to become a result of our shortcomings, but we can rise up and be the men and women that God has called us to be for the glory of God. May His love reign through our nation and His presence be felt more and more as the days go by. In Jesus Mighty name… Amen! (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

We can’t help but change who we are by following closely after the Lord. God’s Word alone is life changing. Those that struggle so hard with this often rebuke correction and are holding onto their own will and desires and not willing to do what it takes to change. There is a constant battle between the spirit man and the natural man. We tend to talk a lot about what takes place naturally, but those are the very things that can get us in trouble. Because without direction and guidance from God’s Word we have been groomed and taught things to be believed as natural that we must resist if we are to follow God’s Word and live a life more pleasing to Him. We must understand the new natural from what God has placed inside of us, which needs to be ignited by continually being in God’s Word and around others to encourage us into a deeper relationship with God. We must reach in, and take time out to be in communion with God to know what He wants from us, which is our life. We need to lay our own lives down and surrender to Christ and admit that we cannot do things alone because we have not been created to do so. If we could see what’s taking place in the spiritual world, we would know why we must take what God is showing us as way more than what this world is displaying to us. We alone are no match for Satan, so if we want to get all pumped up and full of ourselves thinking that we can resist sin and defeat the enemy alone, and that we have God, but aren’t paying attention to Him, we are not quite getting it, there is so much more to life and so much more understanding that needs to be received and knowledge gained by staying in tune with God and fully acknowledging and comprehending that through Christ alone the victory is ours. But only through Christ and Him alone has Satan already been defeated. But we are in a battle zone, and need to decide who we give our lives to. We either give in to darkness and roll with this world by blending in, or we go with that feeling inside that lets us know that there is more to life, that God is so much more, and that we are ready to go all in for Him, by surrendering to Him and drawing closer to Him and standing out by following His ways and reflecting more of Christ’s light into this world. If bibles were to be removed, could anyone really stop us from walking and living it out. Just like anything engrained in us from repetition and continued learning, this is what we must do with the Word. We must learn it by living it, knowing that as long as we continue to look to God and learn from His Word, our faith grows and remains in Him as He lives in us forever, and His sheep will always know His voice. (‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:38-39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

We don’t need to be so focused on the things around us trying to get our attention and the many distractions that we face. We need to be focused on God. And when God is calling us to do something, God is preparing us. When God is preparing us, He is equipping us.  When we choose to jump into something, no matter what it is, and follow after what we want or what we feel is right, we mess up if we are not being led by the Holy Spirit to do so. We need to be mindful of what’s getting our attention and what’s taking the place of God in our lives. Many begin to make other things their god’s without even noticing. Idolatry is a problem in this nation, and we cannot justify it any longer and strongholds need to be broken in the name of Jesus. When people do things according to this world and find themselves controlled by someone that they looked to giving orders to do things, maybe not something they want to do, it can cause someone to be upset and regret, and then want everyone to bow down and give honor to them for their sacrifice, and before we know it it’s all about them. We are conditioned to believe this is disrespect, but it’s not, it’s about glory and honor given to God. Because when God orders our steps and He leads us into the trenches, He is with us and it is all about Him, all praises, all glory and all honor goes to Him. We are not angry serving the Lord. But we become angry serving those that we feel don’t deserve it. Or we feel betrayed because of the conditions and lack of help received when the job is done. Either way do we see what’s taking place? Never should it be about us no matter what we do here. The enemy thinks he’s slick and yea his trickery is cunning and deceiving. This is why it’s important to be mindful to where we put our focus and energy. And may we stay in line with God’s Word. Follow God and the chip on the shoulder and all animosity goes away. Be mindful of your idols. We must be mindful of who we put first in our lives because everything will compete to be first. But if we are going to serve one another in the ways laid out to us in the Bible, then we are to do it looking for nothing in return because our rewards come from our Heavenly Father. And if we are not satisfied with God alone, then we need a heart check. If you go into something for other motives and then look for honor and praise, as thou you appear as servant of the Lord, it will not be about you, but all glory will be given to God. This is the way of the Lord. So if we have a heart for others and think they are being mistreated, that’s the issue, but for anyone in uniform or not to think they are above the Lord, I’m rising up to say the world has conditioned you to go against God and I’m not a follower of this world. Please believe when I say many are being deceived right now. May the Lord continue to speak to your heart, and if you cannot hear Him, than you are not taking time to listen. But don’t change His Word to justify the wrongs in this world. We must stand out and walk differently and have no fear in doing so. ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭25:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “And He will spread out His hands in their midst As a swimmer reaches out to swim, And He will bring down their pride Together with the trickery of their hands.”

(‭‭I John‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” Forgiveness is freedom! Forgiveness frees us from the bitterness that can cause our hearts to grow cold & further from God. Whether it’s something small to forgive or something that we feel is “unforgivable”; nothing is never to be unforgiven as a Christian. We are reminded continuously that as born sinners, we cannot accomplish this on our own, and we cannot draw closer to God when we are unforgiving. We like to justify and hold onto things and give different levels of what is to be forgiven or not. But when Jesus was on the cross taking punishment for our sins; He forgave us before we could even recognize what sin was. Who are we to deny or withhold this forgiveness to others; a forgiveness that we do not deserve, but by the amazing grace of God we’ve been given a way out through Christ and Him alone. Where else do we see such love, grace and mercy like this in this world. Nothing comes close or compares to what God has done and will continue to do in our lives. In order to truly live we need to surrender to the giver of life and ask that He gives us a heart of compassion and forgiveness. May the Lord give us a humble heart so that we can receive His instruction, and to know that His direction given and our purposed filled life will not be in vain. May the love of the Lord fill us up completely so that it overflows into every area of our lives to bring forth new life in areas of our life that are dead. May the Lord continue to forgive us and may we be honest with ourselves and ask for forgiveness each and every day. Because there is no such thing as a perfect Christian and we are all capable of hurting one another and being unforgiven to one another. We need not justify it, but be honest and bring everything that we struggle with to the cross, as we lay down our burdens and troubles at the feet of Jesus, and pray as His humble servants, to learn to forgive and to love one another unconditionally. The truth shall forever set us all free, in the Mighty name of Jesus… Amen! ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

We can no longer hide from what’s been dragging us down. Everything will be exposed as prayers get answered. We may not like the way things look, but we have hope in the Lord and know that all things do work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. May we see all things in a new light, and may we learn just how to fight the good fight.  Let us continue to pray through it all. May we trust that God has our life in His hands and that things will get a bit uncomfortable when we are being taught new ways to handle things by turning it over to God and trusting Him with all we got. It’s not so easy letting go of wanting control over situations, but it’s a lot better when we do let go & let God. Let us continue to move in the direction that God is leading us and experience His goodness in all that we do by learning the lessons that continue to prepare us for greater things to come. (‭‭Psalm‬ ‭16:11‬ ‭NKJV)‬‬ You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

I wouldn’t be where I am today or even be here at all if it weren’t for Jesus meeting me right where I was… lost & not living a life pleasing to God, although I acknowledged Him, I didn’t have the peace and direction that I now have today. I’m so thankful for Jesus coming to my rescue. We try so hard, and yet we fall so short. But it’s not about how hard we try, it’s about how hard we go in for God by seeking His understanding to know that we are to lean on God and trust Him. Our faith is being strengthened continually when we look to God. He shows us the way, but we must be patient and keep on going by learning and growing through the trials and tribulations that lead us towards God with our eyes wide open through revelations and even miracles performed right before our eyes. Let us not underestimate the miracles and the protection that God provides. If we can step up and say, “I am still here”, then let us know that God certainly and absolutely has plans for our lives, and that we have been given purpose. We go through different seasons in our lives, but as long as we are looking to God and praying and waiting on Him, we are going to be good. Everything we go through is preparing us for what God has promised us. Hang on to Him and don’t let go. He will add to us and remove what doesn’t belong, but we must have a heart wide open for Him to receive Him so that our hearts and minds can be renewed by the cleansing of the Holy Spirit. May we all come to the Lord as we draw closer to Him and learn to be more like Christ in our every day interaction with others. May we reflect more of what we need and receive the gifts that only God can provide for us. (Psalm ‭71:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “In You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be put to shame. Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; Incline Your ear to me, and save me. Be my strong refuge, To which I may resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.”
